<h2>Overview</h2>
<p>This session will introduce you all to WithSecure Playground, which will be used for many of our future sessions. We will also take the time in our beginning talk to cover many basic concepts, such as Bash, Kali and the pentesting methodology, and we will be on hand to help all of you get a Kali VM setup. <strong>If you are a beginner, we strongly recommend that you come along.</strong></p>
<h2>Prerequisites</h2>
<p>There are no knowledge prerequisites for this session, we encourage members of all ability to attend.</p>
<p>If you wish to attempt to beginner challenge then it may be recommended to download the <a href="https://drive.google.com/file/d/1zawKP5ZqOkSaI_I6gqmpWn8k9REjDo-F/view">challenge</a> and <a href="https://sucss.org/docs/kali-vm">Kali</a> images ahead of time as they are big downloads. The challenge VM will only run on x86 Intel or AMD CPUs.</p>
<h2>Challenges</h2>
<p>This session will have three separate challenges:</p>
<ul>
<li>A <strong>beginner</strong> challenge focusing on Bash and Kali, for which you will need to download the x86 <a href="https://drive.google.com/file/d/1zawKP5ZqOkSaI_I6gqmpWn8k9REjDo-F/view">virtual machine image</a></li>
<li>An <strong>intermediate</strong> challenge, which will be the Natas and Bandit challenges on <a href="https://overthewire.org/wargames/">Over The Wire</a></li>
<li>An <strong>advanced</strong> challenge focusing on web security, which is hosted in <a href="https://playground.f-secure.com/">WithSecure Playground</a></li>
